Karaoke Entertainment is one of the founding members of Karaoke in South Africa.

In 1987, A few friends got together and invited Johnny Maletsky to join them and started Karaoke Entertainment. This was the hit of the decade. Everyone wanted to be a Karaoke star. In 1989 Karaoke Entertainment hosted the very first karaoke competition in South Africa. We were traveling throughout the country doing Karaoke shows.

During this time Johnny started forming Maletsky Audio Visual offering his clients sound systems for hire or sale.

In 1991 Johnny acquired sole ownership of Karaoke Entertainment and joined the two together forming Maletsky Audio Visual & Karaoke Entertainment. Over the years this has grown into many other aspects of the entertainment industry, now offering our clients a comprehensive audio visual and entertainment solutions for their parties, launches, private and corporate functions from small to major events.

We have today grown into one of the leaders in our industry, able to fully satisfy our customers with our professional entertainment services.
